This Privacy Policy describes how Maris Goods LLC ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you use the Florida DMV — Your Language mobile application ("the App").

By using the App, you agree to this Privacy Policy.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Information You Provide

• Optional feedback you submit through the App (post-exam reports, question issue reports). This is anonymous unless you choose to include identifying information in a free-text field.

1.2 Information Collected Automatically

• Anonymous user ID generated by Firebase Authentication when you first open the App. This ID is not linked to your name, email, or device identifier.
• Aggregate usage statistics stored in our Firestore database, including: which questions were answered, scores on practice exams, and reports of question issues. All data is tied only to the anonymous ID above.
• App version and language preference for support and analytics.
• Device platform (iOS) and app crash reports through Apple's standard developer tools.
• Advertising identifier (IDFA) and coarse ad-serving signals, collected by Google AdMob only if you grant permission through the App Tracking Transparency prompt. If you decline, AdMob serves non-personalized ads and does not use the IDFA for tracking. The App is completely free either way.

1.3 What We Do NOT Collect

• Your real name, email address, or phone number
• Your contacts, photos, calendar, or messages
• Your physical location
• Health, financial, or biometric data
• Payment information of any kind (the App is free and contains no purchases)

2. How We Use Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide the practice quiz, mock exam, and study features
• Improve question quality through community feedback
• Calculate question frequency and difficulty trends
• Diagnose and fix technical issues
• Display advertising, which is how we keep the App free for everyone

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your quiz answers, scores, or feedback with advertisers. Ad personalization, when you allow it, is handled entirely by Google AdMob using the advertising identifier - see Section 3.

3. Third-Party Services

The App uses the following third-party services. Each handles a specific function under its own privacy policy:

• Google Firebase / Firestore — anonymous authentication and database storage. See Firebase Privacy.
• Google AdMob — advertising. AdMob may use the advertising identifier and ad-interaction data to select and measure ads. See how Google uses information from apps that use its services and Google's Privacy Policy.

3.1 Your Ad Choices

• On first launch the App asks, through Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt, whether Google AdMob may use your advertising identifier. Declining costs you nothing - all features stay free and you simply see non-personalized ads.
• You can change this decision at any time in iOS Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking.
• You can further limit ad personalization in iOS Settings > Privacy & Security > Apple Advertising.

4. Data Storage and Security

Data is stored on Google Cloud servers operated by Firebase. We use industry-standard encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest. Anonymous user IDs cannot be reverse-engineered to identify individuals.

We retain anonymous data indefinitely for product improvement. You can request deletion of all data tied to your anonymous ID by contacting us (see Section 8).

5. Children's Privacy

The App is intended for users age 14 and older (the minimum age to obtain a learner's permit in Florida). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected information from a child under 13, please contact us and we will delete it.

6. California Residents (CCPA)

California residents have the right to:

• Know what personal information we collect (see Section 1)
• Request deletion of personal information
• Opt out of any sale or sharing of personal information (we do not sell personal information; ad personalization can be switched off as described in Section 3.1)
• Be free from discrimination for exercising these rights

7. International Users

The App is intended for users in the United States preparing for the Florida driver license exam. Data is stored in the United States. By using the App, you consent to data transfer and processing in the United States.
