Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Florida DMV — Your Language mobile application ("the App"), provided by Maris Goods LLC ("we," "us," "our").

By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. License Grant

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App on Apple devices you own or control, in accordance with the Apple App Store Terms of Service.

You may not:

• Copy, modify, or distribute the App or its content
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code
• Remove or alter copyright, trademark, or attribution notices
• Use the App for any unlawful purpose

2. Price and Advertising

2.1 The App Is Free

The App is provided free of charge. There are no subscriptions, no in-app purchases, and no paid tiers. Every question, the Exam Simulator, Study Topics, the Glossary, and all statistics are available to every user at no cost.

2.2 Advertising

The App is supported by advertising served through Google AdMob. By using the App you accept that ads will be displayed.

• Ads are shown as banners and, at natural break points, as occasional full-screen ads.
• We do not control which specific advertisers appear, and the presence of an ad is not an endorsement by us.
• Any transaction you enter into with an advertiser is solely between you and that advertiser.
• On first launch you are asked whether Google AdMob may use your device's advertising identifier to personalize ads. Declining changes nothing about your access to the App - you simply see non-personalized ads. See our Privacy Policy for details.

3. No Warranty / Educational Tool Only

The App is an educational study aid. While we strive for accuracy:

• We do not guarantee that you will pass the Florida DMV exam.
• We do not represent the Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles (FLHSMV) or any government agency.
• Practice questions are written based on the Florida Driver License Handbook and real-exam patterns reported by users. They are not actual exam questions.
• Information may be outdated; always consult the official FLHSMV website for current rules.

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

4. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MARIS GOODS LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO FAILED EXAM ATTEMPTS, LOST TIME, OR LOST FEES.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE APP IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

5. User Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the App in any way that could damage, disable, or impair the service
• Submit false or misleading feedback through the in-app reporting tools
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' data or our systems

We reserve the right to terminate access for users who violate these Terms.

6. Translations

The App provides side-by-side translations in Spanish, Haitian Creole, Portuguese, and Turkish to help non-native English speakers prepare for the English-only Florida DMV exam. Translations are provided as a study aid and may not be perfectly accurate. The official exam and the official Florida Driver License Handbook are in English. In any conflict between the English and translated text in the App, the English version is authoritative.

7. Intellectual Property

All content in the App — including questions, explanations, illustrations, and text — is owned by Maris Goods LLC or licensed to us. The Florida Driver License Handbook is a public domain government publication; our questions and explanations are original works inspired by the Handbook.

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Orange County, Florida.

9. Apple's Standard EULA

In addition to these Terms, your use of the App is subject to Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement. Where these Terms conflict with Apple's EULA, Apple's EULA prevails to the extent required by Apple.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be communicated through the App.
